Get your closet in order by switching to one standard hanger style and face all of your clothing in the same direction.
Compartmentalize your closet so that there are specific sections for different categories of clothing. (Make sure that your favorite and most frequently worn items can be found very easily)
Make your accessories accessible!! (If you can see the accessories, you are more likely to use them)
Alphabetize your spices! (If your inventory is organized, the spices are easier to find when you are cooking and you are less likely to buy a duplicate)
Convert a photo album to a cookbook by filling photo slots with favorite recipes. You can add sheet protectors for full page recipes.
Create a master grocery list on your computer to save time on handwriting a new list each week. A good place to hang the list is on the refrigerator. Print copies as needed and encourage family members to update the list as needed.
Be selective about the number of extracurricular activities you engage in. Don't be afraid to say "No" if you don't have time for an activity.
Set the timer for 15 minutes and get as much done around the house as possible. When the timer goes off, move on to something else that requires your attention.
Look for routine tasks that can be done simultaneously such as vacuuming while the laundry is being done.
Vertical storage solutions make the most out of any tight space!
Be sure to label boxes and bins so that stored items can be easily located.
Pare down before purchasing additional storage solutions. You may have less that needs to be stored than you realize!
